For my episode most of the graphics will be a completely different look with the same original SNES SMB3 colors.

I like what you did with the older hills better, but these look great too. Also what's with the pattern on the grass world map tileset?Hani wrote:For my episode most of the graphics will be a completely different look with the same original SNES SMB3 colors.

Thanks! I wanted to reshade the hills because I personally don't like dithering.Turret 3471 wrote: YO, these look awesome!! Great work on these! =D (the shading on the hills I particularly like)
Leaves are very flatPROX wrote: I like what you did with the older hills better, but these look great too. Also what's with the pattern on the grass world map tileset?
Edit: On closer inspection, they look like leaves, but they look like someone stamped them on. Idk how I feel about that. The other ones look pretty good though.
that would be cool. I might use them for my project since they kind of go with the particular style I'm using.Hani wrote:Thanks! I can use the older hills for ideas and such, maybe I should release them since I won't be using them anytime soon.

That looks incredible! Very good job on that.Vitellaryjr2003 wrote:

Looks pretty good, I like the numbers in the grass~VitellaryJr wrote:the shape is pretty good but the shading makes it look flatPop Yoshi Bros wrote:At least is a bit decent... I guessPROX wrote:

round shading takes a bit to figure out, so don't feel bad
anyways, have a preview of the first tileset in my project:
the shading feels off for me, what do you think

I think the older one looks better tbh. The new platforms are all over the place with the shading, and the pillars look a lot more bland as well. (I recommend adding a wooden texture to it without adding colors) The pots are pillowshaded and the dolls no longer look like dolls, just random....things. I don't even know what they look like. The special blocks look ok as well as the rope noose. The other one was a lot more accurate with the shading, and the texture was a lot more convincing compared to what it is now.RPG_Magician wrote:Here's Shrine of Dolls Rework WIP sneakpeek!
Coins are currently heavily WIP and will rotate in the future!
Here's the old version which is *Cough*Notgood*Cough*ew: show
So I should redo the old version with the new version colours? I tried to create like a dirty underside of the wooden platforms but it seems like it didn't work so well haha.PROX wrote:I think the older one looks better tbh.
