When i was finding a Sonic CD download, i got in a website that did not allow me to close the site (i was trapped) and i had to restart my pc from the hardware to quit.
I really enjoyed surfing the deep web (more specifically, the dark web) using Tor back when I still had a disposable laptop.
Most of the interesting things I found on the deep web were gore sites, disturbing videos and a lot of drugs and arms being sold. I tried to avoid the kiddie porn like the plague and luckily that worked pretty well. The deep web isn't as horrifying as people make it out to be however. For every gore site there are around 10 index pages, broken domains and harmless sites. Also, as far as I know the rumours about red rooms are all fake. I am guilty of actively looking for them yet I never found one.
But I still want to discourage anyone from surfing the deep web unless they can stomach/enjoy gore and disturbing shit.

If you really wanted a disposable laptop for this, couldnt you just get a rasberry pi for like, 5 dollars?
There's a YouTube channel called "Cooler2000" that makes these really disturbing, crappy-looking Spongebob animations. A lot of them deal with murder and are just all-around unsettling. (One of his videos is even the Squidward's Suicide story as an actual Spongebob episode) He also made some non-Spongebob content but it's honestly not worth watching.
