I absolutely adore the NES MegaMan games, and I loved Super Mario Maker, so I'm pretty darn' hyped to try this. I really hope they're gonna implement stuff from 9 and 10, as well as custom graphics and music.

They aren't going to implement custom gfx and music as far as I know since the servers are quite expensive so if they're gonna add custom stuff, they're going to implement it globally and most likely just after most of the vanilla features being added.

I think they should probably focus on implementing more stuff from 1-6 (And maybe 7-10?) before adding more custom stuff.

Depending on how interesting this is, I might be spending less time on SMBX. I think the main factor is if Proto Man is playable, which I doubt (because that sounds soooo hard to implement...)
Since I don't think a separate mm editor deserves its own thread, I'll post this here.
In 2013 somebody created a 1:1 port of Megaman 2 to 3DS using the flexible petit computer engine. It perfectly replicates everything, and it has a few new features. Because it's not emulated, sprite flickering is completely gone! It also includes a save system, a level editor, and a revamped weapons system that puts all weapons on the bottom screen, so you don't have to pause the game every time you want to switch items. The best part, petit computer is only 8 bucks. 2 dollars more then the virtual console release of Megaman 2.
I rarely ever here people talk about this gem. It definitely deserves it!
