So with all the controversy over the art theft discussion I thought I'd share my thoughts. Over the years I have learned to improve my skills by drawing images such as My OC by selecting an image of of google of a design from the show, so I can understand why people are like "oh this looks nice I'd like to try to draw that!", I can see why some people would claim this as theft as well. However I feel if you are like me just using these images to improve your skills and make friends and get tips on how to improve on this site rather then using them for profit it is not a problem. However if you find an image that is someone else's from this site or others please ask for permission to draw and post the image before hand or you'll end up in trouble, trust me I experienced this before in my naive days as a teenager. Also if you do get permission from the artist please do not try to make a profit off of it because that is just wrong. Regardless everyone will have their own opinions on this matter, this is just my own.

Disclaimer: Anything on my page that was created by an artist that is not my self on DA I have gotten permission from to post on my page.

That was from deviantart many people on the website stolen arts from the users that made the art! Making them banned from the website for copyright violations.

Which needs a discussion why? Breaking rules --> consequences; it's a logical and necessary progression

I know that I remember LisaUTTP Stolen many arts! From the people, Even though she was a UTTP Member The UTTP Stands for UTubeTrollPolice, The disrespect opinions, Rage with Caps and harass every single user. She also says to the F*CK YOU And NEVER! Every time when time she comments on her arts and her profile. Thank God she got banned for spamming! I'll show the link of my art thief website!

Honestly, all i do on deviantsrt is download custom fonts.

From Wikipedia,
"Art is a diverse range of human activities in creating visual, auditory or performing artifacts (artworks)"

Under that definition, everything on deviant art is still art. It might not all be quality art, but it's art none the less.

Tbh if you go and post stuff public on the internet you gotta deal that there will always be people taking it and post it somewhere else.

I always steal good art from there and use it as avatar
