I have locked a lot of threads in this forum, sure, but in the rest of the forums I'd say we have about the same amount of locked topics as we normally have in this community.

I don't think the problem is the locked threads themselves, but how the admins and mods are rather trigger-happy on the "lock" button. If a topic's "useless", "stupid", or "run it's course", it's usually locked very quickly. Those standards, while seeming fine, are broadened to a rather alarming degree on this forum.

I don't think this is an issue. Threads that serve no purpose are obviously locked for a good reason.

Christ, Knux. I never saw Joey constantly coming over to your forum and posting common sense lacking threads like this. Try doing a bit of unopinionated research on this forum and maybe you'll realize it's ran just fine. You are perfectly well to stay here but you always openly show your irrational hatred all over the community, even here, spreading propaganda. If you're so focused on making Joey look like the bane of SMBX itself, try giving some decent reasons, if there are any.

I still believe you're a great member, but this place isn't the Nazi Germany you propose it to be. On my behalf, this forum will accept you and treat it as one if you get a little more mature by realizing this place isn't as lenient and rule-free as your place. Believe me, a forum as lenient as yours doesn't last. Let me give the Super Mario Flash community as an example.

Knux wrote:How does asking a question and giving my opinion on it = IRRATIONAL HATRED ???
You're finding excuses just to throw hate at me, because everything you posted before this was neither relevant or necessary.
Normal users wouldn't make a thread about this unless they were legitimately inquiring about it, which you're not. You're trying to somehow put locking topics back on me, so don't act innocent about it.
Knux wrote:2. I don't approve of his methods of administration, and I find him to be a snob.
Kind of a lofty accusation, especially when you don't give much evidence to support it (especially the latter).
Knux wrote:3. Other users are exaggerating my opinions and beliefs which is both irritating, and unfair to me.
Then put a stop to it? All of the people that do this hang out on your forums.
Knux wrote:It's not me who's over-done the nazi jokes. I called him Hitler in a joking way a few times, nothing serious.
It might've been a joke, sure, but it's gotten really out of hand. Comes back to the point you made about people overexaggerating your opinions.
Knux wrote:Let's look at a few facts here.
- People left the original forums (which weren't lenient at all) because it was too strict, and a lot of discussion was seized. Similar things are happening here.
- My forum, to date, has outlasted every other SMBX forum and has gained more members than this and the original forums (including Trekwebs).
- I've tried to keep things a tad stricter on my forum, but the staff team have CONSTANTLY let me down. IIRC, you were once a staff member.
- False, and...false. While some discussion might've been seized at the original forum, your forum was a harbor moreso for banned users and not so much for users that were simply tired of the original forums. Also, "similar things are happening here" is the kind of overexaggeration you were just advocating against.
- The original forums had almost as many members as you do currently, and got that much in a lot less time. My forum has gotten 600 members in a little over three months, and if we keep going at that rate it's going to outdo your forums in members in about a year, maybe.
- Your staff letting you down is bullshit. We all had to work around your beliefs and you were very stubborn administratively. And it wasn't right to include TNT in that because he wasn't a staff member during the time that you became more strict (if this even happened in the first place). You dug this hole for yourself by taking 3 years of this community's time acting like a child, and that's why the few members that are still at your forums are the ones that are acting the most immature and overexaggerating your opinions.
Knux wrote:The way I see this is you were looking for an excuse to bash me, for no reason.
He wasn't doing this. If you expect to be treated as a member of the community, contribute to the discussion normally instead of searching for my flaws.

I don't think we need an argument thread.

Sorry for locking, Knux.
