No, that's not what I mean. Even though Beta 4 isn't out yet, SMBX2 is objectively better for development than 38A. The fact that he prefers 38A for some crazy IPC functionality really makes me doubt his ability to develop software effectively.

This
isn't an online editor.

We don't even need an online editor (which actually I am unsure what you mean by it).
I'm sure not everyone hates the idea of one though.

Bu this is not a level editor, and we do not need this crap. It is a waste of time. I would rather Sneesy's level portal suggestion than this.

I certainly wouldn't be opposed to the idea of adding online functionality to the editor, but personally I don't think it's worth the effort. It's nearly unanimously agreed upon that just going to the online forums is convenient enough.
If this project accomplished (even partially) what it set out to do, then I'd be interested. However, currently this is just a mediocre online platform. Anyone can create that. Not everyone can create an integration into SMBX, however.

Even if this is mediocre stuff, i think some people that said stuff about this need to be a bit more respectful.
Stuff like saying it's shit isn't even proper criticism.
Also i really love how there are typical "Why 1.4" posts again just because he made it for 1.4.
Just let this 1.4 rant die out already it get's really annoying by now.

First, I thank Pilzinsel64 to make an online software to put our levels, it can be useful, because we can play it just after the download without open smbx and move level folder (Ah, I'm the only person who know that, strange,
It's because I'm the only person who test it before criticism ?
), and I encourage it to improve some things later.
Second, I'll do my rant because this "community" make my patience out of the limit, when I see people like Electriking called this "crap" and it's "A waste of time", but I understand, this software is not for 2.0 SO those poor little people are sad.

Hey, all you made is that Pilzinsel64 will have a bad opinion about 2.0 community, because you're too rude.
Obviously, those people won't recognize their mistake by questions "What" "When" "Where", or by this sentence "oh but I dont see the problem lolololol", because, obviously, it's
objectively true.
Of course all 2.0 community are not like that, a little part of them understand people who use 38A smbx or stop to demonize SMBX 38A.
Ah, and a last thing

Did you actually READ anyone's posts here? The majority of them were not complaining that "it's 1.4 only", the majority were questioning what this software actually DOES that a forum doesn't already do better. That IS a valid criticism - the software doesn't appear to have any benefit over the forums, and isn't really accomplishing what it's trying to do.
You seem hell-bent on making any criticism of anything related to 38A invalid because you assume "it's just because it's for 1.4", but there are PLENTY of valid criticisms going around regardless of which versions it supports.

But them not saying it doesn't mean that they DO think it.
You have absolutely nothing to base your assumptions off, and while Electriking hasn't been nice in this topic, you should respond to what he said using what he SAID, not what you think he thinks.

To be honest, I wish that memory erasing device from Men in Black was real. So I can use to erase the memory of ever seeing this pointless topic!

I mean the idea is actually cool but there are better ways to implement it, and I wish this was for 2.0. And I am sorry if I was rude and worded my criticism too harshly and destructively (and TBH, I would probably use both 1.4 and 2.0 if there was a PGE editor for 1.4, but I heard there is not one for the latest version of it).
Pilzinsel64 wrote:SMBX-38A v1.4.4 or higher
I would reword to 'the latest version of SMBX38' because it may confuse people lacking knowledge of 1.4/2.0 into thinking it supports 2.0 as well (because 2.0 implies an update to 1.4 to those people). Though maybe you should allow support for both versions (preferably by separating levels and episodes into their repective versons).

Catskart, I know that this forum has put a large amount of pressure on you, but deleting your posts by editing them to periods is not a respectable action. You're just making it harder for people to understand the conversation.

Before Catskart edited his posts it had a image in it showing that OP may add 2.0 support in the future.
