Because of the amount of random people who somehow get their hands on the discord link, the server has been inflated with users who don't even associate with SMBX at all. I have a suggestion to minimize this issue. We should comment on a forum (preferably this one.) and state our existence on the forums, as well as our discord name which must be caps sensitive and include all characters in our name.

I.e: Discord name: Xx_MarioDestroyer_xX_23456219

I'm pretty sure I haven't seen you on Discord....

I mean, really anyone is allowed on the Discord server as long as they're not banned on the forums.

^ not to mention, if they're a member on the Discord server, but not on the forums, they're still kind of technically a part of the community

I'm not sure if this is actually an issue. Also this would move the "problem" to the forum where the forum is inflated with people that just want to be on the chat.

You literally click on the Chat button next to the UCP and it gives you the link to the Discord. You act as though it's some magical mysterious link that only gets handed out to a select few.

Every user in that server is associated with SMBX in one way or another, I don't know what you mean by "inflated with users who don't even associate with SMBX at all", that's absurd and wrong.

You don't have to be a member of the forums to be a part of the Discord chat.

This was just a suggestion topic. Feel free to join without posting here. The idea mentioned in the OP likely won't be implemented

People who join a forum for SMBX is part of or associates with the SMBX community
People who join a discord server for SMBX is part of or associates with the SMBX community
People who join forums or discord servers that affiliate with or have SMBX discussion within can also associate with the community

You do not have to be part of one of the above to be part of another of the above or to consider yourself part of the community.

Dunno how some said there are no people who don't associate themself with smbx. There's clearly people in it who don't use smbx and still joined the server.
