My First Level! | Mario's Greatest Adventure > 1-1

Hello, I am TheGamingCats and I am fairly new to SMBX. I decided to make a vanilla campaign and I just finished my first ever level. I know it is short but this level has little to no storyline so I could not think of anything to put in. 1-2 will have more things and will be longer. I hope that you guys can give me some constructive criticism ;)

I am still learning SMBX and right now all I know is the basics :P so please excuse my noobiness in the level.

Thanks for the feedback!

(I gave the world folder as it only has 1 level)

NOTE THAT I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO END THE LEVEL ;-;

You actually need screenshots of your level, and you should use something like Dropbox or Google Drive, since people won't be able to download the level after it expires because of the file uploader. Mods and admins are well known for always locking topics because of this, so you might want to fix some stuff real quick.

First of all, you don't need the world folder to play the level. Just press F5 in the editor.
Secondly, to end the level just use an exit NPC. In the NPC tab, specify the category to exit point and you can choose which one you want.

As for the level itself, it's bad. The second section has enemy spam which makes it impossible to not get hit.
All this make me think that you didn't bother to test your level.

The second part is actually qutie easy for me? Its easy not to get hit, imo. Thanks for the criticism though, I'll change the second part a bit i suppose.

Also, where is the NPC tab? Because I cant find any tab that has a category about exit points.

In the level item toolbox on the left hand side, there's an NPC tab. There's a category menu and click on exit points.

I played and I think you should have used the SMW hills for the first section.

The castle are looked really good, until the top area where it begins to clash and become asemetrical.

Also, I think the first area is really crowdy. You should open it up alittle
