I thought this game was fantastic. Most levels felt original and pleasing in some form or another, the green stars and stamps were fun to hunt for, and the physics are extremely comfortable even when you start out with any of the characters. I had a blast with just about every aspect of the game. I also enjoyed the Captain Toad levels, that's a really neat puzzle concept. It's a shame there are only about 6 of them, though. I could easily enjoy an entire game of those.
But yeah, multiplayer's hit and miss. Camera's terrible, friendly fire with the player cannon is ridiculous, some levels aren't even worth bothering with in co-op, but some of the levels still work quite well with it.
