Should you be able to make a contest hosting for your episode,so you can get levels?

No, not at all; it's simply irksome and time-consuming for one to have to make a level just for another person's project.

Are you still bummed out about the fact that your "contest" was closed because it was useless? If you can run RPG Maker 2003 on your computer, you can run SMBX.

Sorry,hold up!

Why not?

Also, please don't change the topic when you post, it's extremely annoying.

I don't even need to be part of the stuff to guess you're doing this just because the staff locked your contest thread.

Look, I'm going to try to explain you why I decided to participate of your little voting thing, that if no one comes and locks it first that is. Organizing a whole contest just to gather levels for your own project, even if you credit the makers, is just a plain statement saying "I'm too lazy to make my own levels so you make it and you win a contest with it without getting anything at all! Yay! All happy!!". Well, let me tell you in case you're thinking, a prize isn't strictly necessary to attract people to join a contest, but that's not the point here.

First of all, it was obvious no one would ever join your contest, no offence about that. People are already too busy with the CC7 making levels to even think about your contest.

Second, in case you'd actually want to make an Episode, you started quite wrong overall by saying you're not going to contribute with anything. If you were to make at least, say the same amount of levels you demanded it could ok.

Third, crediting people don't give you the right to use their stuff. Unlike graphics, you can't use other people's levels like you want with such an excuse unless they are ok with it, which I highly doubt.

Also, that "Please don't post!" reference is highly annoying to be honest. You claim users opinions but when some of them disagree you just blow them off. I'm sorry but I don't see any positive future for you if you keep going this way to be honest. But anyway, I hope you understand what you're doing won't make any difference, and if you don't, well keep doing what you're doing at your own risk.

Look, what you're wanting to do is practically steal others' levels to make your own personal project. The community contests are no one's personal episode, and it's for fun. Your episode isn't for fun, since it's not official and it's yours personally. Make sense?

A contest doesn't need to be official to be fun, but it's a pretty close criteria the one you're referring to. Let him think a while in case he actually can.

This was answered already, and the answer is not changing. You're not allowed to host contests for the sole purpose of getting levels to use in your own personal project. If you need levels, start a project and ask for level designers. We're not doing this through contests (which we don't need everyone holding contests anyway in my opinion).
