Hello!

I'm "new" to SMBX (I played this game years ago), and since i finished both episodes that come with the game itself. Which are the best Episodes out there?

Some examples of the 2kxx episodes those are just some of the best ones imo.. there are more out there far more. Oh and here's the link to 2.0 which is required for some of these

I recommend Valtteri Island: Revisited as a good episode starting point. But the 2k1x series is also really darn' good like Mable said!

While the 2kxx series of episodes are pretty good (undeniably), I wouldn't recommmend it if you're getting back into SMBX. For one, it has a ton of inside jokes and is based, in part, on the history of the SMBX Community, and, two, they are usually hard. Like, really hard.

I would recommend the episodes from THE SMBX CLASSICS COLLECTION by Knux (The collection, not the episodes themselves). Of those, I would probably start with Valtteri Island. It's good and short. Then Apocalypse of Foroze. That episode is insanely good (It spent 3 years in development), and it'll give you plenty of play time, as the episode has so much content. The Great Empire Trilogy is pretty good, too. But it doesn't outshine Apocalypse of Foroze any (Not by a long shot).

Let me recommend Airship Attack for you. It is a fun and good episode, and it can be played with 1.3.0.x

It's quite long though, so it may not be for everyone. It's still awesome though!

Super Mario Star Expedition, Airship Attack, Valterri Island 2 and 3 (Mushroom Robbers and Return to Dinossaur Island) for life.

There's one downside to "Airship Attack", it's really long! You should bring a ton of patience if I were you.

But I will say it is pretty fun

This requires 2.0, but I would recommend Super Mario Enigmatic 2: Novaborne. It is full of fun puzzles, and has some replay factor.

Super Mario Star Expedition, The Restoration, Mario and Luigi's Delightful Advenutre, Valtteri Island Revisted and Super Mario Legends Part I.

Airship Attack stood out because of its length ... and yeah, it's great.
