What SMBX feature have you always wanted? Even features you wanted before 1.4 and 2.0 came out. My answer: every single powerup in the Mario franchise. It may be a little bit unrealistic but i have always wanted it.

Now that's a hard question!
I would say...
- 8-bit versions of Mario 1, 2 USA, & 3 graphics
- A vast selection of characters like in SMB Crossover!

Some time ago I saw a video about a fake 1.4, and it had ALL the objects from EVERY style.

You know, mario levels aren't like legos. You don't need every single type of block imagineable to build something out of them.

Upside down fireballshoooting piranha plant.
Using multiple different graphics for exactly the same block in the same level.

Because that's why so many awful imitations would be made.
And yet, it is the will of the mario fangaming community to do exactly that.

Easy to use gravity zones would be really awesome. So would actually good online multiplayer.

Vertical screen wrap that is as good as the horizontal one, is one thing I remember wanting when I started making levels.
