Hello, everyone!

Welcome to my new project called : The Great Giana's Adventure.
I just have been redoing levels and changing graphics.
Feature :
New playable characters
New power-ups
New hud
Levels number per worlds :
8 levels + 1 bonus level.
Story :
On a warm summer night in Milan, Italy, slept two kind and beautiful girls.
Their names were Giana and Maria, and they dreamed many strange and wonderful dreams together.
They dreams consist of visits to a strange, enchanted world.
More often than not, their dreams would become nightmares there.
For a time, they were only able to return home with the Great DeGaulle Stone,
the largest jewel in their family's prized collection of diamonds, rubies and topaz.
They encountered many more gems in the dream world, called the Gessert Kingdom by it's inhabitants,
and each gem they got their hands on, they would miraculously be added to their collection
in the real world. Many monsters encountered them there, but they defeated each of them many times.
With the capture of the Fire Wheel, a mysterious magical peppermint, the dear, well-behaved Cute Giana and Maria
turn into small, rash but mischievous Punks, and could throw firey DreamBubbles with a Thunderbolt.
They climbed into bed shortly after a busy day at school, and began to dream again.
They hoped they wouldn't dream about the monster-filled Gessert Kingdom again,
but now, something draws them back in... The Sisters rise to see nothing but complete darkness.
They are in their bed, fully dressed, and staring at their family treasure chest.
It begins glowing and the DeGaulle Stone floats precariously above the box...
A shadowy figure appears before them, his eyes glowing a menacing orange hue...
He stares at the Sisters for a moment... Suddenly, the stranger takes the Stone.
"Hey! That's our biggest diamond! Give it back!" Giana cried out, leaping at the stranger.
Maria tries to hold her down but the bed cracks and gives way beneath them, the chest flies
open and their gems scatter about as they plummet, the stranger floating above them, Stone in hand.
Giana and Maria land in the middle of a grassy plain, with diamonds from their treasure chest floating about,
alongside bricks and blocks with stars on them. They're right back in the Gessert Kingdom!
How they were brought here again was a mystery to them, but whoever brought them back has made
the land worse than ever, crawling with more hostile creatures and befowled by fearsome dragons and hypnotized monsters, taken by the stranger's controle.
They would take back their family's most prized jewel, along with answers as to why they're back!
But Giana and Maria are not lonely to go back on the kingdom. There's also someone els, but who?
The story was written by illcitvirus115.

Team :
Level Designers :

Graphics Designers :
GianaSistersFan64
Beta Testers (3 Open Slots) :
I'm gonna need some help completing this game.
Beta Testers as well, mainly to pick up on errors that I haven't already spotted
For the player graphics, i need a guys who know Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams or other Giana Sisters games.
Uptate 01/01/18 : Now i don't really need a world designer. I think i can do the world maps myself. Also i've added the story.

Your screens have tiles in them that don't look good with the rest of the tiles in the screens.

Hello guys! I am adding black border to my sprites.
Is that even better or even worse?

The black border looks nice. I think it allows the sprites to pop out.
Many years ago on the old forums, I spoke to a user named DarkBloom. She made custom sprites for Gabbie from the Great Giana Sisters, although I'm not sure if she's (he's?) still reachable. You might want to try finding him/her, if you can. Last I saw, she/he was on MFGG.

The borders make the sprites look more cartoon-like, which could work well with SMW graphics. They do make the sprites look a lot better and I think maybe the custom world map sprites could have those borders too.

It's based on every Giana Sisters game (mostly Giana Sisters DS, Giana Family and Giana's Return)

Hello again ^^ So like i've said, i will add black outline for making the graphics with a good look. But there's some sprites that i have not done yet.
The screenshot :
I've changed the owl, geelee and crab sprite for make them less classic. Also to i've changed the big blue gem into a small red gem (like in Giana Sisters DS). I've also added more backgrounds, more foregrounds, more rocks, clouds, vines and sign (skull sign; gem sign and arrow sign). But there's some sprites that it's not featured. Like : slope grass, other background, ground in different colors, Dream grennade (power-up) and more. Also 3 new levels is comming

I don't think the black outline necessarily makes them look better. In some cases it works, but I think it looked better without it here

Some people said with black outline look better, cartoon-like and it allows the sprites to pop out. But the thing is that i've don't make a backup of the graphics... So yeah...

This looks really nice, but 3-4 looks a lot longer than the other levels. Also, that cream coloured pipe thing really stands out and doesn't suit the level, but it would probably look better if it was a shade of blue.
Other than that, this project looks great!
EDIT: But I realised that it is for 1.4.4, so I guess I won't be playing it anytime soon (unless it is made compatible with 2.0).
I like the level timer idea. Not sure if that is a 1.4.4 feature, but if it is something like lunalua, do you think you could send me the code for it?
