Then they probably wouldn't know about SMBX and even if they did I'd personally focus on the fact that there's a very low chance this would ever be finished in a product that would be user-friendly and actually somewhat good and all of the other things I mentioned that you conveniently ignored

Mario games are bad to play without buttons, so I prefer console and PC games.

and beside, if SMBX was made on mobile phones & tablets, Nintendo would know about SMBX, and destroy this community!!!

I think Nintendo already knows about it. They took the original SMB.org and it was possible they tried to take it down already (although people say it may not have been Nintendo who sent the cease and desist).

On Noodle's side, if it was on mobile it could be taken anywhere.
On everyone else's side, this would require a TON of data to use, as such would be better on PC anyways.

Although, the controls issue could be "solved" by making it Mario Run with 16 bit graphics

I gotta agree, something like this cannot happen and most likely cannot happen because we don't have the source code anyway to port it to mobile...and besides, I rather play SMBX on my keyboard then try to play tricky levels with a touchpad.

Edit: The closest you'll get to SMBX "mobile" is those expensive Surface Pro tablets and a separate keyboard to use with it.

If you were going to make such an impossible port to a mobile device, at least make it a Homebrew game for the 3DS.
Besides, the types of controls on mobile phones are garbage, on-screen buttons are a terrible idea with SMBX.

Mobile games in general are just terrible.

I agree, but there would be a backwards button and a spin jump button.

MLTPL runs on their own. To drop, press the item chest with your item. Slide down or up to warp thru pipes. To change Tanooki MLTPL to Statue MLTPL, hold the spin jump button.

I thought this was going to be SMBX? You need the run button to throw fireballs, grab enemies, etc.

When MLTP runs into a grabbable object, it is put into the Inventory (the Item Stock is a section in the Inventory. Fire MLTPL can shoot fireballs/swords by spin jumping.

SMBX has different features than SMR. But SMBX for Mobile is similar to SMR but with the features that SMBX has.
