I wonder if he subscribed his thread, because otherwise, he won't get the warnings and his thread will get locked and he won't even know it. It's a beginners error, and I know it cuz it happened to me when I was noob, I was like "why is no one replying to any of my threads?", then I looked at them, and OMFG 17 comments! The thing is then, I guess not a lot of new users doesn't reads the rules cuz all the rules from mostly all social networks are basically the sames...wich is not the case of that website.
