Hi, welcome to the forums.

I'm not quite sure what you were trying to do here, but the "quote" BBcode tag is meant to be used to quote another user's post, in the sense:

the BBcode is meant to be used to quote another user's post

I.e., I said this in a previous post. You shouldn't use for your own original text, as it misattributes that to the user who is shown as quoted.
