Yes it does, SMBX 1.4.4 is now allowed on SMBX.org.

ok? This whole thing is getting confusing I know this is off topic but why do we even have two different versions being made of the same game?? Someone pm me why please.

Anyway, the screenshots look great. I think I might install 1.4.4 just to try this

1.4 is an unofficial version of SMBX that is generally seen as worse than 2.0.
