What is the current version everyone here uses? My friends and I want to start a collab together and we're wondering which one we should use!

When I could play, I used 1.3.

SMBX 1.3.0.2

I would have used SMBX 2.0, but Beta 3 doesn't work for me. : (

Most people here use either 1.3.0.1 or 2.0
Personally, I use 2.0

As of now, the most common versions are 2.0, 1.4.x and 1.3.0.1 (in that order?) and it's actually a bit of a problem because each of them is different from each other, thus preventing some people from playing levels made for a different version to what they've got. 1.3.0.1 and 2.0 are closely related, except the latter has more features, and 1.4.x is a completely different kettle of fish as while it's similar from the outset, it actually is wildly different such as having a different physics engine entirely. Hopefully when 2.0 gets out of beta, it'll be less confusing when the majority settle on it, so we can design levels without having to worry about what other people are using.

You forgot about 1.3.0.2 (Normal Lunalua).

As for what version you should use, I would say 1.3.0.1 for the best compatibility, 1.3.0.2 for less compatibility but more features, 2.0 for the most features at the cost of some things like multiplayer (currently doesn't work with new characters) and certain lua functions, and finally 1.4.x if you prefer the physics engine or do not want to use lunalua to achieve what can be used in that version.

lmao "1.4's" physics are terrible compared to redigit's

i use 1.3.0.2 because of easy pge lunatester access (yo i do so much testing it's unnecessary)

but i usually use like 1.3.0.1 for everything else because that's just what we do here at rodeonet

Put me into the 2.0 list. I chose 2.0 because thats how I could play Super Enigmatic 2 and after that I thought its too much trouble to download another version.
