Well, I'm glad you like Super Paper Mario because it's a Action-RPG game. ^^

Spite me if you will, but I really don't think Tails' Sky Patrol, Sonic Blast, Sonic Spinball, and Sonic Labyrinth on the Game Gear are all that bad. They're just weak links in the GG library if anything imo.

But what exactly does it being an action-RPG game have to do with anything?

If you ask me, remakes are ALWAYS better than the originals. I mean, how can you say no to better graphics and/or added content and/or the same story that you liked (that could have possibly had additions and/or an extension)? (This especially applies to the Pokémon remakes.) Sure, there may be some bad changes, but unless they're really bad, they don't really take THAT much away from the game. (Though I'll be honest...the Superstar Saga remake doesn't seem as good as before to me when I learned that the removal of the Koopas' flight outfits was not the only really bad change...)

I don't really wanna talk about that, unfortunately. But I guess I could guve you a small hint. It's something in Little Fungitown.

I agree - SM64DS is really good. People complain that the controls are terrible but seeing as I grew up with them they feel fine. Plus Yoshi is awesome in 3D.

My unpopular opinion:
I actually liked Mega Man: The Wily Wars. Sure, some the the music is just plain bad and it lags, but i still like it.

DK64 is a great game, and Tropical Freeze, while well-made, doesn't quite capture the charm of the original trilogy.

I prefer Castlevania Portrait of Ruin over every other Castlevania (and I don't care if Simphony of the Night is the best)

Same goes to Megaman ZX Advent

And I don't like Super Mario Bros 3, it bores me, the only thing I like are the airships and the koopalings and the graphics

I personally like the beam sword item in Super Smash Bros. 64 when more than the beam sword item in freaking Super Smash Bros. Melee*

*The item looks more like a actual lightsaber in 64. While in melee, it looks like a fucking knife!

Sonic Mania didn't appeal to me at first. At the time, I thought it was below today's graphical quality standards, seeing how it's a 16-bit game that's first released in 2017. But after reconsideration, I decided that it might be worth getting at some point anyway. You may now unleash your rage.

FYI there are indie games that have similar styles, ex. Shovel Knight

Honestly for me graphics are by far the least important thing in gaming.

I love it when a game has beautiful graphics. But they dont effect my thoughts of the game.

And would'nt it be cool if both Sonic 1 MD and had other levels that only appeared in Sonic 1 GG?

Graphics ARE VERY important. I thought that graphics weren't that important until I saw...

For me, graphics only matter when they affect gameplay somehow. And obviously that abomination above is the case.
