Can't Find .lvl's

Hi, my friend has recently installed SMBX and he can't seem to find his .lvl files, and I really don't know how to help him. It's starting to bug both me and him, as I'm trying to teach him some basics over skype and he can't really follow my instructions because the .lvl files don't seem to show up in the folder, only in SMBX. He even deleted the folder that the levels are stored in but they still appear in the SMBX Level Editor. If anybody can help us here then it will be a tremendous help.

There might be the possibility he saved the files on a certain direction but when he goes to check out the .lvl folder he goes somewhere else. Does he have similar folders?

To my knowledge no, the folder where his levels are stored is the only folder by that name.

Tell him to try to save his .lvl files in his desktop, if they show up he might have saved his level somewhere else. After saving it in the desktop tell him to move it to where he wants to.

He reinstalled SMBX and its fine now, lock please.
