It look...correct, but there is a lot of clashes and cutoffs. (even if, i admit, smb2 ennemies fits pretty well in smb1)

Ok, i will explain: this i a cottoff. The name explain: its when you put an element who is badly cutted off.
Examples:

This is the thing to do.

A clash is when you put an element who didn't match with others, like smb1 elements in smw.

Clash is when two different types of graphics are in the same level. (ex: SMB1 tilesets with a SMW background) I don't really see much clash though. Cutoffs are when a tile suddenly stops at a sharp edge.

Not in the map; in the levels.

Levels look bland. If it's a super mario bros story, you should add more content (Decorations, Blocks, Coins)

Uh Oh! Did someone fall into the 'Clash Misconception Trap' again?

Clash is when you use GFXs that don't look good together. Clash and style mixing are 2 different things. You can mix styles that look good (although the example posted above would most likely cause clash).

Like, I think smb2 sprites look good with smb1 ones, since the desing is very similar.

most of the levels have clash because there are some enemis exclusive to an estile that i need to use with oter stile for making the level

I can't get pass the first level, that could be me sucking at the game but I don't know if spamming chasing yellow koopas is good design.

You can use custom GFXs. Sednaiur's SMB1, 2, 3 and W packs have a few enemies from other games that have been restyled to fit the style of the respective pack.

Guys, when you quote things, can you either remove the image from the quote or make sure they're in spoilers please.

That is... Wow. Just wow. Every single good episode in SMBX has coins. They giving free 1 ups is a terrible excuse. The levels will still look bland without them. Also, let me add that there is horrible clashing here and horrible cutoffs. This episode doesn't look any good to be sincere. There are a lot of things to improve here.

When he created the levels, he didn't knew what was a clash and a cuttoff, so i informed him.

In this case, the biggest problem is the levels being bland
