Here are some tilesets I made that appear to be filled with craters and stars.
It comes in an Asteroid version and a Desert version!

Contains:
- Main tileset (replaces SMW Overworld and Cave tiles)
- 2 Sizable tiles, one with craters and one without (replaces SMW Sizable tiles)
- "?" Block (replaces SMB3 "?" Block)

v2:
- added Asteroid tileset
- added a third, yellow star
- some graphical fixes to slopes

Color it gray and you've got a pretty good asteroid/space tileset going on.
Looks a lot more like I'd use it for outer space, which is good and bad, since I'm not sure that was what you were going for.

I know the "?" looks hard to see, but it's in the middle of flashing.

Starry Crater Desert Tileset

You have got a got a good start there, but like NightKawata allready said, you basically made an orange asteroid tileset. If you were to want a desert tileset again would recommend making the texture a bit more grainy on the fill tile part. Also, you use way too many colours (like three or four) in the part that is supposedly towards the sun. You can easily do that with two colours. A little more contrast also wouldnt hurt. The stars look awesome though, I once made a stardust tileset and those stars looked a lot less cool than yours.

Woah the beach tileset looks like in desert tbh lol. I kind of liked the design of the star(fish), the tileset was pretty smooth but I'm agree with others :/ .

Thanks for your criticism guys, I agree with what you said. I'll add an asteroid recolor today.

Updated to v2, adding an asteroid version, plus some extra stuff.

The asteroid version is much better than the orange version. I think we can all agree :p

I think you could still find some use for the orange version in a good quality level.

Like maybe a level that mainly takes place underwater. Or a water level in a desert. Stuff like that.

I'm sure I'll use these tileset pro my project will give a good level of corals!
