Your worst teachers in School

Postby Koopsakimoto » Sun Feb 12, 2017 9:04 pm

Basically what the topic says, have you ever had a Teacher that was a real jerk or was just stupid? I had one in 1st grade that I really hated. I even threw a chair at her once because she yelled at me. (She called me a dummy among so other hurtful words.)

I had anger issues back in primary school, and my Year 4 teacher did not know how to handle me. She kept giving me punishments and stuff for reacting badly to other people's endless insults and mockery, and letting those kids off scot-free. I was glad to move on to Year 5, but then in Year 6, guess who my teacher was?

I had a teacher in 7th grade Social Studies who would just put up a Power Point about a topic and made us write what appeared on the screen. A couple days later, he would give us fifteen minutes to study it and then we had a test after that. I was surprised that I passed that class with an -A because I only studied on the day of the test. 7th grade English was also a pain because the teacher was a newbie. I didn't do too good in her class, my highest grade was a -C and my lowest was an F. She did like my personality, but she let herself get bullied by her students, and I think she decided to do something different. Right now in 8th grade, I have a Earth Science teacher who refuses to do stuff on paper, and makes us submit our assignments on iPads through apps called Notability and Schoology. He's a pretty sarcastic person, and a slightly grumpy one too. I got an F on a test all because I forgot to take a picture of it and upload it. I'll be more than glad when the second trimester is over in two weeks because I'll be with a different teacher.

Year 3: Oh my god...oh my god. We had this incredibly, INCREDIBLY strict teacher who barked out instructions and imposed massive sanctions if they didn't follow. I just happened to be one of them. We were doing a project about the Romans and we had to colour a typical soldier in. Because I used the wrong colours for the face, I got shouted at and she tore two pages out of my book. She still haunts me to this very day, over 10 years later.
Year 6: Not as harsh, but we had this really annoying guy who always liked to pick on certain people for the littlest things, and they kept doing them regardless of the punishments. He also treated us like idiots.
Year 8: Our ICT teacher was a pain. She ragged on people who asked her for clarification, claiming they weren't listening, yet she droned on for a long time to the point where people had zoned out! Not only that, but she made us design our websites using fricken' DREAMWEAVER! The good news is though that she's now retired and it turned out she was mental.
Year 10-11: Not really a strict one, but our music teacher was an idiot who didn't really know much about the subject; even I could surpass him! It was only by my grounding of music theory that I managed to get a B grade. Want proof that he was bad? 10 out of the 15 people studying music failed!
Year 11: Chemistry...oh boy. Our teacher treated us like primary school children (we were 15-16!) making us all say good morning and good afternoon to her at the start and end of every lesson. Even then, our teacher was bad and couldn't explain things well - she spent an eternity going over structure and bonding and rushed through the rest of the course as a result, leaving us nearly clueless and having to read up about it. Even the lower tiers were complaining about her as well teaching them "university-level chemistry" which I assume was stuff about empirical formulas and delocalised electrons - which they DIDN'T EVEN NEED TO KNOW.
Year 12: One of our physics teachers was a pain who explained things too quickly, expecting us to get a grounding on it first time. Because of this, I kept failing my tests and developed a hate for the subject as a result.

It doesn't stop there though, it still goes on in university. A few months ago, our programming lecturer ragged on me for having my phone out, yet everyone else behind him had theirs out as well!

That happened to me in Public Speaking a couple weeks ago. She was calling role and I was waiting for her to call my name, and she singled me out for having my phone out, when even my friend beside me had his out.

My class teacher last year loved it to tell us stories from her private life. She told us that she did up her garden the day before and it was destroyed during the night because it rained. Then I told her that she maybe should have watched the weather report so that she could had known that it rained that night.

Results: She ran out the class room howling.

...when people go crazy lol

In elemenary school in first grade i got a teacher making study to us the first-person plural imperfect indicative of imperfect.
I think it was a VERY stupid idea to force like 6-7 year old kids to learn that.

I also remember i time i got not bullied, but like, you know, when younger assholes start to mock you. I was like in second grade and a my teacher was telling the problem to another one, but she didn't told well the actual story, so i told her and the other teacher was like ``SHUT UP, SHE IS TALKING!!!!!!!``
like very loud! Apperently, it was the music teacher, and years later, my brother told me how stupid he was; apperently, of my brother's friend was playing minecraft and was fighting the enderdragon by throwing it snowballs and the asshole teacher was like ``STOP THROWING GOLF BALLS TO THE BIRD!``.

Huh, did the class he went to actually let him play Minecraft?

It sounds to me like the teacher you got made you study some Latin grammar, which, I would say is a bit odd for a first grader.

On 3rd grade I had a teacher who apparently dislikes the way I act even if I barely do anything in the class which is just outright stupid if ya asked me... least it was only 1 year but on 4th grade I slightly saw him again but not as much luckily unlike at the 3rd grade.

I don't actually hate the teachers in my primary and secondary schools, but in my primary school, when I was Year 6, I had this English teacher who was very strict. Her tone sounded like a person with no emotions at all, and she had this aura which makes my classmates and I to silence every time we were making a ruckus. Anyways, her strictness ended me and my classmates with low scores. Then, we always would get punished no matter how hard we try. ( Good thing secondary school's teachers are good )

My second grade teacher had me call home and tell my parents to clean out my ears.

In front of all the other students..........
