Is this a side effect of LunaTester?

So, I work in PGE, and tried out lunadll for the first time, but the tester that I normally use is the PGE (alpha) tester, but I havent encountered this issue in the PGE tester.

So I open up LunaTester, becuase its the only tester that will run lua commands, and I get a welcome surprise to this:

And blammo! One house is unmasked and the other is just gone.
This seems like a big slap on the face because LunaTester has alot of finished components compared to the PGE tester, so will this or will this not appear in the final? (SMBX 2.0)

WTF? How did that happen?
I don't know how to fix it, but check the mask. I don't know about the second house though.

Try saving both houses as PNG files without a mask.

Try what Snessy said. Also, may I just ask how you manage to work with the alpha pge engine that is, as the name implies, still in alpha and barely playable?

Yes. Include file extensions if possible.

Yes, the alpha tester does not actually test levels, so the fact you used that means your project/levels may not play like you thought they would, as it is completely inaccurate in every way.

75 is a fully opaque tile in vanilla and doesn't have a mask. Convert it to a png with alpha transparency. I'd assume the house is a ghost house bg and thus suffers from the same fate.

To clarify on this, you can't add a mask to tiles that do not have a mask on their default graphic.

However, if you use .png graphics (which is highly recommended over .gif masks), you can save the transparency directly into the file (so you only need one image, not two), and it will be preserved even if the original graphic did not use transparency.

In short, use .png files.

THEY FINALLY ADDED THAT OPTION IN 2.0? ABOOT TIME.

I used to use 1.3.0.1, and so I got used to .gifs and m.gifs

It's been in 2.0 since the very first version...

My statement is still correct. 2.0 is over a year old now, and ever since the first annoucement during MAGLX2 it's supported png graphics. I didn't say anything about 1.3 supporting them (which it doesn't), and neither did you.
