Long title is long.
So yeah, what games do you plan to get in the future?
The only one I want to get is Yoshi's New Island.

Yoshi's New Island, maybe. I'm not really sure. I've heard mixed opinions about its level design, and the fact that it doesn't have unique mini-bosses in x-4 levels makes me mad.
If you're allowed to say unreleased games, then Kirby Triple Deluxe and Mario Kart 8 for sure. Farther into the future, both versions of Super Smash Bros. 4 undoubtedly.

The games I'm definitely getting in the future will be Mario Kart 8 and SSB4. I'm pending on Yoshi's New Island and Kirby Triple Deluxe. As for Xbox, I might take a look at Destiny and Titanfall.

Mario Kart 8 sounds fascinating, I love the series and have every game except the Super Nintendo version since I think it sucks.
I am tempted to get Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door due to me having a Gamecube. I've heard positive things about it, and have the other Paper Mario games.
Otherwise, Kirby Triple Deluxe seems neat to get, and I might start getting the Call of Duty series soon (omg let the haters come I don't have any XboXes or Playstations!!).

Kirby's Triple Deluxe is the first game i'm getting!
Then I'll see what's left over so I can get Dream Team, Bravely Default, SSB for 3DS of course (maybe i'll get the Wii U version instead), LoZ ALBW, and Luig's Mansion 2 (after I play the original).
Then there's games that i've wanted since I was little, like Luigi's Mansion and Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door.

Not very many, I find. Not very many at all.
Games I intend to buy tend to sit on these lists for a long time due to my backlog and my desire to avoid spending a lot of money. After I finish playing Dark Souls II, I could go through that backlog or eventually pick up any one of these:
From Nintendo:
Super Mario 3D World (still haven't played it yet lol)
Mario Kart 8
Super Smash Bros. 4
Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze
Zelda for Wii U (Not announced yet; not the Dynasty Warriors type Zelda that was seen earlier though that one may yet interest me.)
Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
Yoshi's New Island is still a maybe for me. I would definitely have bought it if I liked the Yoshi 3DS XL, because I would have gotten that game bundled with it PLUS a download of Pokemon Y for registering it, but I didn't like the Yoshi XL, so saving 80 dollars didn't really interest me when I was spending 200 dollars on something I didn't like. I've read reviews both positive and negative for Yoshi's New Island, but I still remember what Artoon (which later became Arzest) did with Yoshi's Island DS, which is a game I really didn't like very much. I'm completely on the fence, which means I'll end up prioritizing buying other games over this one and might not end up getting it at all.
I didn't even know Kirby Triple Deluxe was out (EDIT: it's not), but those games don't really feel new to me. I also skipped Return to Dream Land for that reason.
Otherwise:
Rayman 2 (I love this game but still don't actually own it... I've only rented it over the years.)
Steamworld Dig
Arkham Origins (maybe)
Shovel Knight (definitely)
Gunman Clive
Child of Light (maybe)
Hyper Light Drifer (maybe)
Skyrim Legendary Edition (eventually... I still haven't even played this game.)
I saw a trailer for a game called Cloudbuilt on steam that looks pretty nuts. It's sort of a 3D action platformer, coming off as high-paced like Sonic and colourful but with shooting as well? Hence "nuts". I'm waiting on reviews of that one. But it looks nuts.
I almost never play old-style JRPGS despite having a fondness for them, but I might get Bravely Default. One of my friends said recently that it's the best Final Fantasy game since 6. (Though of course it's not technically a Final Fantasy title.)
If not that, then I'd pick one between it and Fire Emblem Awakening since RPGs tend to be so time consuming.
Demon's Crest for SNES (I saw this on Game Grumps and genuinely wanted to try it.)
Yoshi's Island (The SNES one. I still don't own it but I'd like to get it on Virtual Console as well as Demon's Crest if that one ever comes out.)
Metroid Zero Mission (GBA... apparently a really good game that I actually missed completely)
The Last Guardian (One of the few reasons I even bought a PS3 and it might not end up coming out on PS3!)

Off topic, but Kirby games don't seem new to you? I can understand that for Triple Deluxe, which appears to have a lot of stuff recycled from Return to Dream Land, but Return to Dream Land itself had a lot of new ideas and was the first original Kirby platformer in 5 years. I'd say it's one of the best 2D platformers on the Wii, and there are a lot of those.
Also Yoshi's Island (GBA remake, anyways) is going to be released on the Wii U Virtual Console next month, so you know. That reminds me, I'm also going to get M&L: Superstar Saga when that comes out (same time as Yoshi's Island). That's going to be a hell of a nostalgia trip. Such a good game.

Really? The GBA remake? Am I the only one on the planet that prefers the SNES-rendered sounds? I mean the GBA version had levels added in, but the experience would be overall inferior to me.
Whatever, I guess that won't be an option for me then.
As for Kirby, I'm just not that interested I guess. That's coming from a fan of the original game, which didn't even have copy abilities. I bought Dream Land with my own money as a kid, and played that game to death. I also more recently got Dream Collection which compiled a few games I missed as well as some that I didn't. The core gameplay of that series just sort of doesn't work for me anymore. It has its own depth in a way but not really the kind of depth that I look for when playing a game.
I forgot to mention, I also plan on getting Mighty No. 9, that MegaMan-esque game by Keiji Inafune's COMCEPT. Technically, I pre-ordered it.

Yeah, I can understand that. It's still the same Yoshi's Island, but if you really hate the music or whatever, that's good.
As for Kirby, I mean, not everyone's going to like everything. Whatever floats your boat.

I'm looking forward to buying the real version of Dark Souls 2 when that comes out in april, Kirby Triple Deluxe in May, Mario Kart 8 in May, Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright when Nintendo of America gets off their ass and decides to release it, Danganronpa 2 in september, Persona Q whenever that comes out and both versions of Smash Bros.
As for games that are already out, I'm waiting on significant discounts/sales for Lords of Shadow 2, Yoshi's New Island, The Wolf Among Us and maybe some other random crap on steam that goes on sale and vaguely interests me.

Dark Souls 2 looks extremely interesting, but I don't have the money nor the computer to actually make it worth playing.

I have a good number of the upcoming GBA VC games, luckily. The only ones I really need at this point are Metroid Fusion and Kirby & the Amazing Mirror. I have also taken a good interest in Dark Souls 2.

I'm with a lot of people on wanting Mario Kart 8, Kirby Triple Deluxe, and SSB4. Haven't decided whether or not I want 3DS or Wii U, though. I think I'll wait on that and see what the content differences are between the two games. Someday, I wanna get Luigi's Mansion and Super Mario Galaxy 1. I've played like 90% of both on friends' copies in the past and I want to finish them fully, especially since I recently finally got and completed Galaxy 2 so I'm a bit better with those physics now. In the immediate future though, I'm torn between Kirby Triple Deluxe and Mario Golf: World Tour. I want them both equally, but I haven't decided which to get first.

Why is the PC version of Dark Souls II the real version? Graphical fidelity, I presume?
Honestly, I only noticed the textures being garbage in the PS3 version when I got to a moss-covered ruins-type area, which was pretty far into the game for me. Then I started seeing it everywhere. It's mildly disappointing but not a deal breaker for me.
But man, I loved Dark Souls so much I got it on both. It's one of my favourite modern games, if not my very favourite, and that's coming from someone who dislikes a lot of typical modern games. I always intended to get DS2 on PC. It's much more immersive on my PC with headphones than on the living room TV with the volume down. I missed the preorder too so I didn't get the physical copies of all the goodies (mainly it was the OST I would have wanted), which kind of sucks. I could at least get the digital stuff.
