I know another game that I can sort of speed run only as a certain character.

Streets of Rage 2 as Skate!*

here's a list of things i go fast in

Sonic 1
Sonic 2
Sonic 3&K
Freedom Planet
Terraria
Sonic Adventure 2 (i do prefer the first one, but realistically this is better for speedrunning)
Mega Man X

i don't like officially do any of them, but i've considered the classic sonics & freedom planet a few times

This may sound funny, but i can speed run the beta of my project.

Which I'm sure almost everybody here can do with their's.
I've actually gotten worse at speedrunning NSMBW, even though I retry everyday. I would say I finished Spore in a few hours after finding some overpowered creature parts and playing it a hundred million times.

I can speedrun GBA Mario Bros. 2 in 2 days only, by using the warp vase. That's quick tho.

I completly forgot to mention... Super Mario Allstars + Super Mario World!

Pretty much any main sidescroller Mario game you can speed run in under an hour

Wanna know my personal best time in 1 of the games in a "9 in 1" game called: Kirby Super Star for SNES?

I one time, beaten the Spring Breeze game in about 7 minutes & 0.24 seconds with these guidelines:

• No deaths

• No partners

• The only ability I can use is 1 of the few abilities from level 1, Green Greens

Can you beat that?

Pretty sure you can speedrun any game.

• Is somewhat short

• There's a speedy character in the character selection

• Has easy speed running tricks

Did any know I once Speed run Spring Breeze in Kirby Superstar with only the Bomb ability (No partners, no deaths)?

Some times I try to speedrun SMBX levels, as long as they are not overly hard, that is.

I can speed run Sonic Megamix, although I've never gotten a record. The easiest way to do it is to drop down from very high up and bounce off an enemy, which makes you shoot up into the sky. If you pull it off multiple times you can get past most stages really quickly.

Sometimes I try to speedrun Super Mario Bros. (NES), thanks to that awesome warp to world 8 in 4-2 ;P, so you must beat only 8 levels out of 32: 1-1, 1-2, 4-1, 4-2, 8-1, 8-2, 8-3, 8-4

I can easily beat Castlevania Portrait of Ruin in one day or two (I'm addicted to that game)

Kirby Super Star Ultra. I can do speedrunning in Spring Breeze, Gourmet Race, probably The (True) Arena/Helper to Hero with Wheel ability/Wheelie helper. Since Kirby's run speed is really fast but not when flying or slide attack so yeah.
