I am currently working on a SMBX game called Super Wario Bros.

The story is that the Wario Bros. go to an island that is found to have treasures.



More screenshots will be coming so stay tuned.

Credits to 'Shocker' on SMBX Forums for the playable Wario and Waluigi.

And credits to 'NO Body' on Spriters Resource for the Yoshi's Island styled Wario and Waluigi sprites in the logo.

You should add scenery to your levels because they do look bland at the moment.

Very cool Logo and Intro, but yes, this project can do with some more scenery.

You people forgot to mention coins. You should add coins and more scenery to your levels. Anyways, I think this project is nice, since it uses the Wario and Waluigi characters. Good luck on your project.

You're off on the right start. The graphics are nice and the terrain looks pretty good. However, the levels are really empty, especially the water level. Add some background objects, coins, pipes, and (in the water level) enemies. Those would make your levels more fun and interesting.

Also, in the intro, the logo and the ship should be bigger. And it looks awkward that the ship is sitting in front of a still background. Maybe you could add some cloud BGOs on a moving layer or make the level autoscroll so it looks like the ship is moving.

I had never seen a wario and waluigi project so I think this is incredible!
And wario and waluigi sprites are pretty cool, good luck!

I really think I'm going to like the Wario Bros after I play this, there seems to be more of a story personality to it than some of the other projects I've looked at.

This looks really good! Can't wait!
