So he died...cant say I feel sorry for a guy who preaches about open discrimination to gays.

Disclaimer: This isn't a hate thread, and its not my intention to start one, so bashing Fred Phelps in this case is discouraged, so I would refrain from doing so for the sake of following the rules.

Wow… crazy to see this guy dead. It seemed like he'd be around forever. I know he was kicked out of the Westboro Baptist Church about a week ago (or at least we've known about it for about a week), and I wonder if the church will fall apart without him leading it.

I honestly don't know what to think about this, though. On the one hand, one of the world's most hateful people is dead. On the other hand, he supposedly had a change of heart sometime recently (apparently this is why he was kicked out), and while this in no way justifies or excuses his extreme hatred of seemingly everybody, he's still a human who is dead. Then again, people die every day. If I had to choose somebody to die, he'd probably be near the top.

A multitude of good people die; no one cares, no one pays attention.
This creature doesn't deserve more attention than those people. He doesn't deserve a thread.

Oh yeah i belive if someone died who is like a star everybody would go flipshit but apperantly when someone dies who isn't that much known by others nobody gives a shit.

I read somewhere that he confessed he was gay..idk if I can believe it but it's pretty ironic if it's true.

Honestly I wouldn't be all that surprised if it turned out to be true, Luigifan (although I haven't heard this myself and it's probably just a rumor). This kind of behavior (a gay bully turning out to be gay) has been shown to exist in the past, although this is a particularly extreme example and it's probably not really that likely.
