Does Halo 1 count? I can mod it to a small degree and I have a couple of people that I play with, but I still enjoy it in its normal form anyway.

Old PC games are practically all I play, and all I own, so get ready for a long list.
Age of Empires II (The Conquerors Expansion) and Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds (The Clone Campaigns Expansion) are both my favorite RTS games of all time. I still play WarCraft II and StarCraft from time to time, but nothing beats a good round of Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds.
I really enjoy Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 and 2 (including expansions), they're my favorite Tycoon games out there.
I like playing Battlefield 1942 from time to time, it's pretty good as well. Another RTS game I enjoy playing is Dungeon Keeper and Dungeon Keeper II, especially the latter as it has multi-player support.
I sometimes play Sid Meier's Civilization III and SimCity 3000, but I've always had troubles getting into the two.
Another old game that I extremely enjoy has to be The Sims, I own every single expansion, and I own The Complete Collection pack. Next to Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 and Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds, this is the game I must have played the most.
One game that I rarely touched was Dungeon Siege: Legend of Aranna. It was fairly interesting, but I actually enjoyed it more on multi-player than I did on single-player.
I also played some bits of Lords of the Realm II in my spare time.
And last but not least... RuneScape...
Back in late '06, early '07, I came across RuneScape somehow. I was very young and I didn't know much about how computers worked, and my English wasn't that great at the time as it had been roughly 3 years after I moved from Finland, but I somehow managed to get my mom to register me an account, and I played that game. Albeit I never got into it because I was, eh, unacknowledged, on how to play the game. To this day I still long for the old, back in 2007, when I had access to a better version of RuneScape. I'm fairly certain I'd be able to get an easier grasp of it now, but it seems I'm too late.

Gee, if only my computer can actually play games... Otherwise I'd play Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle Earth, boy did I love that game so much, I used to have mods and stuff for it and I love strategy games. I can't really think of anything else but I'm sure there's others that I'd play.

Re-Volt.
If you remember this one, welcome to my childhood. I found out half a year ago that it's available on the webs for free and started highscoring again.

Age of Empires 1 (and later also 2), RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 (and later also 2), The Sims 1, Industry Giant 2. Those were the games with which I kept myself alive in my childhood, and I still love them.

I'd say it counts, this is one of the ones I play anyway! I love it
I count SMBX as an older PC game mostly because of it using VB6..lol.
I still play ALOT of Battlefront 2, Half-Life, Counter-Strike (ALL of them. especially the older ones). Duke Nukem and Doom I always play too. Surprisingly enough, all of these are pretty easy to get going under Windows 8

Descent got released on Steam recently. I bought it.
I used to play it on a joystick, but I no longer have one of those.

Honestly, from what I've seen, I'm surprised that Mari0 never got a big scene like SMBX did. It looks really fun to me.
On-topic, sometimes I screw around with Minesweeper when I'm really, really bored. Really bored.
Also shouldn't this be in Video Games?
