Alright, so this is my first level that I've pretty much ever thought of. I tried my best to make use of a few "advanced" tactics since I only work in the SMBX Legacy Editor. Hopefully one day I'll complete the full episode. Enjoy (:

You mean the legacy editor (SMBX 1.3.0.1), right? "Vanilla SMBX" means no use of custom graphics, only using things that are already built in the designer, and your screenies obviously show custom graphics. Also you can use [rimg] to align the screens in the first and third row.

When creating something with no world map, don't forget to set the Auto-Start level. Yours should look like this:


Also, three things about the level itself:
1)The border made the level seem awkward, as it was in the back of everything, meaning that if Mario fell off the edge, he would be in front of the border.

2)The bridge after birdo is defeated moves too fast, and it doesn't need to move, it just has to appear.

3) You used cave story music a few times, but personally, I think the remastered versions of the music would have fit the Mario style better.

All of these things I'll make sure to take care of in the full version. Thanks for pointing them out! I'll fix my Vanilla typo too I literally make that typo all the time lmao

Well my goal was first finish fixing up the level and then to finish the episode some day and then just post alternate links in this thread lol
