Also, in case I win a Steam game, can I get a replacement prize instead? Cause I don't have a Steam account, and I haven't been planning to get one as of now!

Also, Wild Animal Racing sounds like a Mario Kart ripoff!

I'll join. Just one question: Do the levels have to be themed in some way?

Can the levels be in a world map or hub style, or act as three standalone levels?

I'm pretty sure the answer to all those questions are, "no"

Well, the folder structure is very hard trying to figure out fore one or three levels. I have to ask... Also, what other way is their to submit if you can not submit them in episode format, or standalone level format?

Here's a question:
Where will the contestants be shown?

Wow! Seems very elaborate, but I could do something outta this 3-level plot.
Good luck to everyone, and in case of me winning the Steam games, why not make it money or can I choose?

Also, in rule 8 does the folder have to be called that?

Horikawa Otane wrote: 1) You can submit up to THREE stages
2) LunaLua and all 2.0 exclusive features/NPCs/characters are fine.
3) Please put your name on the level file
4) Please put your custom music, gfx, etc. in the level folder
5) Put ALL of this in its own folder
6) If you include screenshots of your level, include them in your submission folder alongside your level file
7) Include a Text File called information.txt with the following info:
  • A) Your name
    B) The Stage Name (any language is fine)
    C) Which SMBX version you're using (2.0, 1.3, 38A)
    D) Which character you're using
    E) Any additional comments you want to make
8) So your folder structure should look like this
  • Horikawa's Submission/
    Horikawa's Submission/information.txt
    Horikawa's Submission/screenshot1.png
    Horikawa's Submission/HorikawaOtane.lvl
    Horikawa's Submission/HorikawaOtane/
    Horikawa's Submission/HorikawaOtane/customSong.ogg
    Horikawa's Submission/HorikawaOtane/NPC-1.png
So if we enter three stages, do we need a WORLD or HUB file/level?
Can I do this for the multiple levels:
  • SuperMarioChannel SMBX/
    SuperMarioChannel SMBX/Readme.txt
    SuperMarioChannel SMBX/SCREENSHOT
    SuperMarioChannel SMBX/MUSIC (.mp3 and .ogg)
SuperMarioChannel SMBX/LEVEL PLACEHOLDER (For all Levels)
    SuperMarioChannel SMBX/LEVEL PLACEHOLDER/GRAPHICS

I don't think you have to use a hub. I think the levels are just chosen and played.

Horikawa Otane, I want to join! I just have a question. Do we have to download 2.0? In your post, you say:
"So download the latest SMBX 2.0 beta and get started!"
But later in the post, you say:
"Which SMBX version you're using (2.0, 1.3, 38A)"
So are we limited to 2.0, or can we use any of those three versions?

Does 38A supports 2.0 Levels?Because I never used that editor..
I am really dizzy what did the rules said. Q'n'A please?

I'm pretty sure she meant that 2.0 was the recommended thing, but that the others were allowed too!
