Hey all! This is my second full episode completed! My first one ever, titled Lost Levels can be found here: viewtopic.php?t=12607
This one features better looking overworlds, checkpoints on longer levels, and as always with my style, traditional mario play + level design! No puzzles or anything like that, just straightforward Mario 1 style levels...but there are some really difficult ones!
MORE FEATURES:
8 Overworld Maps.
Multiple "Choose Your Level" sections in Overworld Maps.
Mario Bros. 1 Level styles + design with a little Mario 3.
TONS of secrets and hidden items.
All water is swimmable.
Traditional style level design, no crazy puzzles or odd characters.
One way level scroll + no reserve power-ups, true to Mario 1.
Let me know what you guys think + if you record video of game play of this episode please share!
I'm currently working on a Lost Levels 2.0 being made with SMBX 2.0 and use of the starman among a few other smaller episodes. Man I love it, so much easier having SMBX and PGE integrated + testing is a breeze now!
Thanks!

There's something rather strange going on when trying to start.
Picking an empty file, I come out at World 7-7, and all worlds from 7-5 and 7-8 are played. The world map music doesn't play. After playing 7-5, I could access 7-4, and after backtracking until 7-1, the music starts playing again, but I can't go back the warp to World 6. Nevertheless, this is pretty surely a bug. I also tried using the almost-complete save file, but the problem stays, warps aren't transpassable the other direction. This should be changed as well.

I think the problem stems from him accidentally placing the starting point on 7-7! He should fix that soon! Also, it's a really bad idea to make one way warps, as some players might want to play previous levels again at some point!

Shoot my bad! I was testing a path in world 7 and forgot to place the start back to normal! Will reupload to my original post.
Also sorry for the musical changes in this video. I did that for reasons.

Downloaded the project and it included a completed save file

This is not uncommon as it gives you a chance to visit further levels if you're stuck at one (at least assuming you can go back to previous worlds which unfortunately isn't the case here). If the save file bothers you, just delete it (go into the episode folder and look for "save1.sav")
The link of download does not work. Tells me to upload a file. sure it does?
Please look at the date this was posted, it’s unlikely that a download link still works on a uploading site like they used.
Also thanks for the auto edit preventing you from making a triple post.

Also not meaning to be rude but I don't think this episode was super remarkable. It looks like I rid it off my PC when I purged a few old episodes at some point.
