I recently noticed that lots of posts say SMBX2 has full compatibility with 1.3, but in my early version of Beta 4 and some of Emral's videos show legacy levels being played in Beta 4 with all sizables having a outline. I dont know if this is fixed in the current state, but some custom semisolid graphics that are recolors also display improperly in my version.

Don't care about this unreal version? You can have the community's words regarding full compatibility.

some of Emral's videos (also some recent) show legacy levels being played in Beta 4 with all sizables having a outline at the bottom.
This similar thing also happens in The versions Emral/Enjl has in the videos.
Also i want edit post to fix mistakes, but cannot for some reason due to button missing?

Give sources please, make sure what exactly you mean by "Enjl's videos".
And if you really have no edit button for whatever strange reason I'd also like to see a screenshot (or are you on mobile?)

I remember mentioning on the previous page that the things in the version you got your hands on aren't reflective of the release version... Please don't report bugs from a 4 month old version which we've done a lot of work on since. I will not reaffirm "yes, this issue has been fixed" for everything that was broken at the time the leak happened. None of that stuff was meant to make it into a release, after all.

Hey everybody! The Horikawa Otane SMBX2 blog website is active again as of today (February 6th, 2019)! That means I can check out latest blogs for SMBX2 in the future!

It sounds like that's about the
proposed changes to sizable graphics mentioned on the blog which would make sizables in many classic episodes look wrong.
Are you still doing that?

I thought they were referring to the bug where legacy custom graphic masks weren't working correctly, since they mentioned that it also happened on recoloured semisolids. The minor graphical changes to sizeables are still in and don't qualify as compatibility-breaking.

Is there a chance that the Super Mario Bros./SMB: The Lost Levels grass platform (used in SMB world 1-3) correct blocks and BGOs (non sizeable block variant) can be added in the future?

Is really necessary to add that though?

Well I'm just thinking of ideas for SMBX2 beta 5, something unique.

That doesn't sound unique and looks like it could be done with custom graphics as necessary since it only acted as a semisolid in the original anyway. Definitely pointless

Oh wow! Actually, I'm just doing ideas for fun, and not meant to be taken seriously. Anyway, I'll just do that with my custom graphics instead!

Then maybe keep them to yourself because if you're not being serious you're wasting other people's time who are taking you seriously

So I know that the trailer was just released today, and that Beta 4 is being worked on vigorously, but
In the future, would we be getting some items from the new Super Mario Maker 2?

What comes into the game depends on what people want to write code for, so there's always a chance! I think there are certainly a lot of fun things we can port over, but don't get your hopes up for any of that in Beta 4, since we're trying to minimalize new additions in order to get closer to release.
