Super Mario Bros. X Forums

As said by the title, is it possible to make the Mario Bros. have hearts instead of the item box? Maybe with something like LunaLua or PGE... I don't know, I'm a total n00b at using them. Also, since I'm here, I have another couple of questions. Is it possible to remove the characters' small forms, to make them stay big like Link? Also, is it possible to remove a player's power-up or change its character with events? Thank you for reading, and sorry if my english is not perfect, I'm italian.

You can't change power-up or character via events at this time, only via LunaLua. To keep the player large (which I do in one of the power-up systems for my Super Mario Galaxy Modder), you have to check the player's power-up state after powering down and force it to 2. Then if they power down again, player:kill(). You would also have to force the player to start the level as state 2. Alternatively, you could change all of the hitboxes, etc. for state 1. In terms of a hearts system for Mario and Luigi, I don't think anyone's made one yet but it's doable and I might try at some point (requires LunaLua of course)

Is LunaLua hard to use? It looks useful, so I'd like to learn how to use it, if that's not harder than the Champion's Road lol

It requires coding experience and some of the stuff you've mentioned is somewhat technical

Oh ok, then I'll try when I know more about coding. By the way, your Galaxy Modder is awesome, that's probably what I was searching for all along. Mind if I use it when it's complete?
