Where are "intro.lvl" and "outro.lvl" in the 1.4.3 version

Postby Toaddle » Sun Sep 18, 2016 5:54 am

Hello everybody !

I'm making a project on the SMBX 1.4.3 version and I want to make my own intro. But, in the other versions, the file "intro.lvl" was in the folder of the game. But in the 1.4.3 version, I can't see them. I've read the changelog and I've seen this :
-Intro.lvl and outro.lvl are now hidden, but you can still customize them in the old way.
How can I found them ?
Thanks your futures answers :p

I don't think SMBX 1.4.3 is supported here, sorry!

Ok, thanks to reply to my topic.
I had the solution on a French forum, and I think it's good to share it here : the file are hidden but we can put a file "intro.lvl" and it will replace the hidden one :)

Apparently intro and outro levels doesn't exist in 1.4.3, makes them impossible to edit which is kinda dump. Let's hope in the future it will be changeable though like SMBX 1.3 and 2.0.

You can make a custom intro. Simply save a level named intro.lvl and place it in the SMBX folder.
You can also make a level called outro.lvl inside an episode, and it will turn into a custom outro for that episode.
