I LOVE the actual tileset, but I don't recommend to use SMBX 1.4.2 due to all the bugs and developer's slow updates to fix them.

I'm a bit torn on the bolts on the pipes. They're a great idea, but feel tacked on and don't do a good job at giving the illusion of bolted pipes. The ones on the shaft weirdly fall out of perspective and are in a weirdly-shaded area that also kind of ruins the usual cylindrical look of the pipes. The ones on the head look like painting on the pipe, rather than objects drilled into them. They need to pop out of the cylindrical canvas of the pipe (sorry if I'm doing a garbage job at explaining this).

Slow updates? There has been a ton of patches that have been released.

I really love this tileset, but I'm not a fan of the pipes.

Good job, in fact I liked the distinction on pipes.

The pipes are a good effort, but I am not a fan of the cap. I like the shaft, though. The shaft could be recolored in various ways possible, producing unique colors.

I personally love the pipe design, they look really nice!
I think to make everybody stop with the pipes, include 2 versions, one with the bolts and one without

I like the tileset, the pipes are kind of weird though. I'm definitely using this in my project, it's definitely better than recolored grass tileset. Anyways, good job.

Well, it's a SMB1 tileset, and it uses the SMB1 color palette. SMB1 and SMB3 have different palettes, so I don't think this would fit in SMB3 levels, unless you recolored everything.

I am more curious, how did you do that to your game? The item box, remaining lives and so on.

He means 2.0 I think.
Although 1.4.x has a different heads-up display (HUD) by default.

Whoa, this SMB1 16bit style Desert Tileset looks cool tho. As I can see the custom HUD from 38A(aka a copypasta version of the 1.3 version),it's looking good tho. That's all I can say. :p

Here's the video where I found out about 1.4.x. This literally almost brought a tear to my eye.
