Chocolate Contest X1 Entries

Title says all - here's levels done for mentioned contest. Both levels can be played in 1.3. with minor changes.

Mousers Grassland

A large Tiny Toon reference.
Here's 2 explorative sections relevant to its Genesis game and suitable challenge at end.

Terraria Generic Biome

Terraria related level. Biome is standart forest with cave.
I have to mention that bullets "die" in Beta 4 while generating if generator is close to the ground. I especially didn't fix it so developers can see this problem with their own eyes.

Just Hit the Switch

Created for Mystery Contest 2020.
It's included in contest folder, but here's also lvl-version which compatible with 1.3 (but Beta 4 NPCs are absent)

At first I was going to make more movements of the platform with switch, not just tower, but then I realised that in structure I'm getting I have to redesign most part of level almost from scratch. I had no time for this, so I decided to build around part I already constructed.

Terrifying Orb in the Night Sky

Created for MAGLX3.
Main conditions of this level are:
Location - Factory
Adjective - terrific

The main theme is reference to Yakogoro's stage from Megamari with rabbit NPCs in. But to make it even more terrific I decided to mix it with some Touhou Mario things. Level is so large, that it includes all sections with overlimit to one. Level is definitely not easy and may seem to be unfair for players which can't keep enough concentration.

There are 2 stars, but only main one ends the level.
Also I included lvl version in archive, which is compatible with 1.3. However if you play without lunadll there's only one checkpoint. Though it's still possible to beat despite it's difficulty.

Vanilla Cave of Poisoned Shrooms

Created for Vanilla Contest 2021. I accidentally deleted a parakoopa so here's fixed version.
I also included lvl-version in archive. However this vesrion is not vanilla, but can be played in 1.3. Both versions have an additional star.

Swamp Palace

Just reuploaded an old level with some minor changes of npc-codes & graphics (2nd screen).
Link's walkthrough is a bit different than playing by other dudes.

Chai Forest

Just Chai Kingdom level.
I purposely used old SMLR tiles and mixed set of NPCs because I find them more suitable for this level.
There are 2 additional stars, also level is compatible with 1.3.

These 2 levels were created for Nova Level Contest 2.

Waluigi Time

Simple & short bossfight.
It's like Hammer Bros patrol on SMB3 World Map, but with Waluigi instead.

Silver Clinger
Spoiler: show
It's time to run!
A large Silver Sonic is after you. And his speed will accelerate on direct distance and get even higher than player's (with exception of Toad maybe). But since it's movement is linear you may win some time when you jump or come down. Level is not easy and very harsh for Luigi, because his speed is lower (however his higher jumps will compensate it in the end of level).
Level has 2 versions. In contest version player will not be raised by checkpoint (it was restricted bu rules).

Snow Piranha Field

It's a Mario Forever level with munchers but in Snowland.
Level is compatible with 1.3 (coded plants will be deactivated).

This Level could be 2023 Science Contest entry (Haha. No)
Level created to test jumping on heights by bouncing from NPCs. In 1.3 version it's a bit higher, so you can play this level in different versions of SMBX to compare. For the purity of experiment please refrain playing by Luigi.

Too very high cliff to scramble!

This level was created long long ago for TTK Vertical (Up/Down) Level Contest and didn't posted in this thread till now because I was going to include fixed version in episode which I still not finished (and now I'm not even sure if it happens).
So here's level where player have to scramble on the cliff and fight sometimes some enemies on his way to get a star on top.

Organic Monitoring System

Created for Art Inspiration Level Contest.
Here's metal construction with yellow/orange lamps and eyes observing this area.
Level has 2 additional stars.
Btw it's updated version of level where I fixed flaw section with moving thwomps and some minor issues.
Here's also lvl-version which compatible with 1.3
