If you'd have asked me to list anime characters I'd be breezing through this list.
Let's see... These are in no particular order. Just the 5 I like the most.

He's a guy from Meteos, a DS game that no one else seems to know about. He doesn't do much, but he looks pretty cool.

Well I'd say:

1. Celebi Cute and it can learn some good moves.
2. Cheep Cheep I like fish and I like cheep cheeps.
3. Bowser He's never actually mean in the mario and luigi series so IDK why they're so mean to him D:
4. Kirby Really cool when he gets fat and gets new powers. LOL to the fat part
5. Monferno Cute and yet pretty fast and strong. He can learn several diffrent moves.

1. Kirby- way too freaking cute.
2. Ice Climbers- I played the NES game way too much.
3. Mega Man- MERRRGERRR MERRRRN is very cool and is a fun game series.
4. Pit- he's kinda not the brightest bulb on the Hanukkah tree, making him a lovable character.
5. Simon Belmont- I liked how he could moonwalk and Indiana Jones in the 4th one.

Nathan Rad Spencer, the main protagonist of the Bionic Commando series, He is very cool, but lacks character. He cannot jump in most of his games and uses a grappling hook to get around. In the first game The main protagonist of Commando goes in alone to stop the Nazi threat, Hitlers Resurrection(JPN version) and is captured, so they send in the first bionic commando ever created Rad Spencer, in the NES they call him Ladd but it was a translation error. Along with resurrecting Hitler, they have created a weapon of mass destruction the Albatross.

Solid Snake, the main character from Metal Gear 1, 2, Solid 1, and part of Solid 2, he is also extremely cool, laid back but yet really good at doing what he does and that is sneaking around killing people and stopping weapons of mass destruction, also his end fate is quite terrible. In Solid 3 Peace Walker and Ground Zeroes you play as his Father Big Boss who as a younger soldier also goes by the code name Snake and is just about the same exact person, though they do vary slightly.

Wolverine, what can I say about this ferocious beast with a bad attitude? He rips em a new one and survives most anything. His Skeleton is coated in adamantium and he also has a high healing factor, needless to say he has three claws that can retract and extend from the middle of his knuckles on each hand, and luckily for a lot of bad guys in the series he gets knocked out quite a lot. He Hates Magneto with a passion and also He doesn't like Cyclops.
Hugh did a pretty good job at portraying him in the movies, though I think he could have done better, also his first appearance I believe was in the Incredible Hulk and not the X-Men. He loves Jean Gray, and his memory is really messed up, and no one knows how old he really is.

Paul Phoenix, my best character in Tekken since Tekken 2, is a very strong Biker that somewhat resembles Ken mixed with guile, 2 or 3 punches and its all over. His fighting style is fairly balanced considering his moves that kill you so quick are not the fastest moves and playing against a skilled opponent requires patience and precise timing. I know his entire command list, and I consider myself quite adept with him. He almost beat Kazuya in Tekken 2 the fight was very close, he beat every single person he fought in Tekken 3 and by all rights should have won the tournament. I really don't like what a block head they have turned him into, but whatever, he is best friends with Marshal and Forest Law(they Are the Bruce Lee of the Tekken series Marshal is forests Father but they look almost Identical) Pauls 2 main Rivals are Kazuya and Kuma. It has been stated that paul is the only character who did not forfeit to Kuma(Kuma is a bear and one of the strongest characters)

Also I like Guile and Cammy from Street Fighter, I always thought military stuff was cool if you couldn't tell.
Umihara_Kiwase is also really bad ass with grappling rivaling even Rad and Spider Man.

SPAWN is Totally bad ass but I don't know if there has been a good game of it since SNES.

1. Grunt from Mass Effect 2: A bad ass krogan who loves to wreck shit (as much as I loved Garrus...)

2. Kirby: The most powerful character who consumes and transforms into everything he eats

3. Arbiter from Halo 2 & 3: His story arc was interesting after the heretic takedown and him siding along with Master Chief is one of my most memorable moments from any character

4. Crash Bandicoot: my childhood icon who I always grew up with since the PS2 era. My favorite silent protagonist to date

5.Vass from Far Cry 3: Such an insane character who's out for blood and his act is just over the top that it's so good to listen to his dialogue

4. Kirby. I've only ever played the original 8-bit Kirby. It was amazing.

5. Mega Man: mega man is Jesus in a way. Has great music and has one the hardest games on all time. And the games a fun, also has mamy, mamy abilities.
