Mushroom Sky

If this level was given to me at random, I would've thought this was an SMB1 level. You nail the visuals perfectly. Even though you hardly have the bgos on mushrooms, that's fine considering this is an SMB1 themed level. The background also compensates for the lack of bgos anyway. NPC placement is near flawless with the red paratroopa getting funky with some of the moving platforms being the main issue, and coin placement was well done too with only 134 coins spread out throughout the level. The level plays like an SMB1 level, and i had fun playing through it. The level has great replayability for how simple it is. Despite its short length, you could definitely speed run this quickly, but it's not so short that it's bad. The only other issue I saw with this level is using the trampoline to leap to the end. It's not hard, but leaps of faith aren't the best to have around. Overall this is a very simply made SMB1 level, but the execution of it and its design are really well done. Excellent job!

9/10

Thanks for the feedback! I tried to make a pure SMB1 level without LunaLua. I'm glad I delivered, at least for you.
