What's wrong with just having the Level Judges choose Featured Designers? A monthly contest is more work and would likely end up producing the same result. As I've mentioned before as well, the Featured Designer may not always be a person with the highest scoring levels. There's other reasons to feature a user

I applied but Valtteri said I was rejected and said *winks* on Discord.

Are we starting up the bias this early on in the new system? Also PP shouldn't be an LJ because he rarely reviewed and made excuses for not doing so.

I have slacked off on reviews in the last few months and only done maybe 10 (although also over 20 in unofficial contests), but also do the most moderating out of the group as well

I agree Val, my accusations of him reviewing rarely are baseless. And my lj app is serious so it should be taken seriously.

You will never compare to bossedit when it comes to moderation.

There's clear bias going on with LJ app submissions. My review style is more concise and to the point but it was rejected because it wasn't "comprehensive enough." Meanwhile a guy who makes up excuses for why he couldn't review applies and gets right back in. Shameful.

Yeah Enjl, you should point out why PixelPest is a bad judge. I mean you could explain how he gives no insights in his reviews, how they're all fluff and don't say anything substantial about the level, and how the review is either just negative or positive with little or no in between.

You could say that about anyone.

Then why even make anyone a judge if you know everyone's reviews are garbage? Is it because PixelPest does a, to you, good job at "moderating"?

Look, guys, I don't want to fight with you. I know I've been a little blunt about this and I apologize. I'll try to be more friendly in my responses. PixelPest's position just isn't negotiable. I think he's good at his job and I'm not really convinced by any of your reasons to claim otherwise. I hope we can come along despite this.
