Spring Jumping
At the peak of your jump, hold the down button and the jump button, while letting go of the spring, to jump off it.

Though the method for the original will not work on the new one, the original did have a lot simpler way to do a spring jump. Spinjump while holding run and ↑. Release the Run key before the peak of your jump and:

Spin-spring jumping is actually stupidly inconsistent due to how you can't really control the direction in which the spring is released. The same (or very similar) method works if you regular jump, and release the spring a bit before the peak of your jump. Then there's also the drop method in which the spring release happens somewhere around the peak of your jump. Overall, spring jumping is fairly simple in SMBX, and the new red springs make it pretty much spontaneous.

You record a small video and then look for a GIF making site on the internet. I approve ezgifs where you can even change the size of the Gif If needed.

There's a built in .gif recorder in the game itself. Just hit f11 while testing your level to start recording. Hit it again to stop recording.

Don't use a drop shadow on the fill tile for a sizeable otherwise you'll get stripes on your sizeable. If you are going to make a drop shadow, then place it on the top block instead of the fill. Also I like what you're doing with the lava, but it's pretty busy. Try to maybe take it easy with the bubbles. Aside from that and the banding on the top of the volcano crater, it looks pretty good.

No wonder why the sizeable looked odd.
The lava itself was ripped from Wario Land, although I am planning on making custom lava. The parts of the volcano background were separately touched but I haven’t “mushed” into a single background her. But thank you so much for the feedback!

I forgot if that was fixed in the Pal release or the current dev build that is not public. Regardless, it is fixed. Lava looks super cute as well.
Edit: *Boiling water

I was getting a bit bored, and I started missing this place. I was just looking through, and I found one of my old levels from a few years ago (I'm gonna use it for my new project next year).

I always hated SMB2 bombs as way to defeat bosses due to hitbox larger than explosion sprite, coupled with explosion on impact giving too much chaos in handling such dangerous explosives.
