Hello gentlemen, the problem is this, when I use the SMBX with sound activated, it stops working when I go out of his window, it does not happen when the sound is off.
I had this problem before. It happens due to a wrong instalation of SMBX. Do you happen to have installed it in that notebook recently? If that's the case try to re-install it.

Well, I just did what you said, but the error still persists.

It certainly does, I'd just suggest you to keep doing it in case it got wrongly installed again, and the problem is really annoying I guarantee you that.
If there's another issue regarding that error that the program gives you I ignore it.
In fact, I've had this error ever since the Windows 8.1 update a few months back. I have to turn sound off when I edit levels or it crashes after some time. I don't disable sound when I just play the game because it's less likely to crash then and it will most likely not result in a progress loss, unlike when it crashes when I'm editing a level and haven't saved in a long time. I've tried reinstalling and other things but nothing seems to fix the problem. I don't think it's a big deal but it's a tad annoying.
