Seemingly randomly, the game box in the editor will not respond (the box that you put the blocks and items and stuff into to make the level). By this I mean that the screen won't update, making me essentially blind at what I'm putting down. I'm on Windows, if that matters. The only temporary fix I've found is to restart it, and then in comes back in a matter of minutes.

How recent is your PC and what's your PC specs and informations? Also what version of SMBX are you using?

I think it may be 1 or 2 years old. My specs are as follows :

Windows 10 Home 64-Bit
System Model : HP Pavillion Notebook
BIOS : F.06
Processor : AMD A8-7410 APU with Radeon R5 Graphics
Quadcore
2.2 GHz
8192MB Ram

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've heard that SMBX doesn't work well on Windows 10.

Could you run steps recorder, and then send the ZIP file so we can see what you're doing up to the point where you get the error?

I have Windows 10 and everything works fine with me.

Oh. My mistake.

I tried using Steps Recorder and it strangely didn't freeze anymore. I turned it off for now since it was making the editor have input lag times 100.

Ok, it seems to happen mainly when I'm AFK for a couple minutes.

Nevermind. It's completely random.

EDIT : Okay, so when I use layers or blocks from a section I haven't used before, it freezes until I restart it.

Ok, now it just freezes in seconds after opening the level. Could it be that my music is too high quality?

EDIT : Just tried some lower quality music. Doesn't freeze anymore. Topic can be locked now.
