...I went into the IRC as to request an unban from my usual (because, you know, I was unbanned here) but I was banned from it just before I was about to request it? I had barely said anything when it happened.

You asked for a ban on Friday, so you got it. I don't have any plans to remove it since, like you said yourself, you're only there to antagonize me and because it's on your autojoin.

That was a joke. Do you honestly think the only reason I'm there is to be a dick to you? There's people I like who are on it who I certainly wouldn't be talking to anywhere else.

Well, considering as you act the same way the forums, what am I supposed to believe?

That I like talking to people?

SMBX > Talking to others.

Since this is the only SMBX forum around, once you're banned, you're screwed. That's it, no more SMBX for you, go uninstall it, get out, never return.

...so am I getting a final response here or am I just fucked?

It's been five days and I still haven't been given any word on this. All I have was being told to connect only to find I'm still banned.

It's not my job to answer to you, Zelda. Trying to control isn't helping you.

I went to figure that out by connecting to the network which is what I assume you meant by that. You really could have just said "no" to him so I wouldn't be wasting my time.

You're practically asking me to get pissed here. I'm trying very hard not to be. In all fairness, I'm pretty sure a staff's job is to assist users - making me go through that effort is the complete opposite of that, and I had honestly thought when you said that it meant I was no longer banned.

If you want to figure out if you're still banned, connect to the network and try to join the channel. If that's too much for you to do, then there are bigger problems here.

I already did do that. Before I even made the post. I'm annoyed because you said I should find out for myself which would require me to find the network in my large list of them and manually connect to it - only to see that I was still banned. Wasting someone else's time isn't nice considering I just asked someone who I knew would make it more convenient for me to do so. I can also see that you weren't tricking me, it's just I thought you'd have simply said no if I was still banned.

EDIT: I worded that really badly. I mean I asked someone to ask it for me because I knew he'd get a quick answer.

He made a valid point right there.

You complain about people being a dick to you (and then you go and ban them), but you're needlessly being a dick to other people, and they have no power against it. It would be nice if you just knocked it off and actually did you job as a helpful person.

I think we all might be getting a bit overtechnical here.

Syndrilevosse told me you wanted to know if you were still banned - my immediate thought was "why couldn't he just connect to the network and find out". I assumed you were just trying to be difficult. Also, I generally keep those things somewhat private anyway (I don't talk with other users about people's bans because it's not really any of their business most of the time).

Note to Syndrilevosse - you probably didn't know this, but you can click on the "B" icon by the channel modes in XChat and it shows you the banlist. Or just type "/mode #smbx +b". And your attitude really isn't helping you. You can't expect me to have sympathy when you manage to be a dick when calling me out for being a dick.

...I'd still kinda like to be unbanned considering I've been trying to improve my attitude. You might have noticed, idk.

I don't know what attitude you're talking about. I wasn't really being a dick when I wrote that post.

Besides, you've been telling me (ever since I was unbanned, at the least) that my attitude hasn't been helping me, or that I'm walking on thin ice. I don't understand what you're getting at. If you're threatening me, it's not working, and I would suggest falling through with any punishment you have in store.

That you have a terrible attitude and I'm considering banning you for it, since you've been given so many chances to change it and haven't complied. I'm not sure what you mean by "if you're threatening me, it's not working" - I was threatening you with forum-based punishment and will definitely go through with that if I need to. I suggest being more careful with your choice of words, because you basically just said "lol you can't punish me". Also, "It would be nice if you just knocked it off and actually did you job as a helpful person." is pretty dickish.
