Xbox 360 Wireless receiver multiple controller support?

So, I use an two Xbox 360 Wireless Controllers for local multiplayer gaming on my computer. These controllers both connect to my computer through the Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver. I have never had any problem playing a countless number of games with this wireless controller setup on my computer until now. For some reason Super Mario Bros X only detects one controller. In the players input options menu the only choices are "Keyboard" and "Joystick 1". Is this due to the Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver? Is there a way to get Super Mario Bros X to detect "Joystick 2"? Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to playing this game with my wife.
