Playable Toad Sprite Too Big

I was using this sprite to make a playable but look - the default Toad is bigger than the sprite. What are my options in this situation?

Can't you simply reduce the size with width= and height=?
Or just leave the size like that, because the new Toad isn't that much smaller, actually... Of course the hitbox will be a bit too big then, but it isn't too much of a drama...

People've made smaller playables than the original ones before the way smwforever mentioned, the one with just leaving the size and hitbox the same.

Oh right... I forgot this is about a playable character... But he could as well leave everything unchanged, as I've said... the hitbox would just be a bit too big, but that wouldn't be too much of a drama, except if he wants the playable character to be perfect.

Try to make a bigger sprite for that Toad.

That's a possibility as well. It'll be some work, but he'll most likely get a good result in the end.

Yeah, I want the hitbox to be perfect. It would be unfair to get hit for seemingly no reason.
