I wouldn't say the levels made early on are exactly made quickly either. I often find a handful of the lower scoring submissions being the ones submitted right before the deadline. Not always the case, but just something I've noticed.

It is a pretty complicated thing. Levels submitted early could have been started before the contest coincidentally fitted in the rules. Bad levels submitted just before the deadline most probably be made by someone who had not much time, be it other priorities or that they only knew later on about the contest or had procrastinated. But you might as well at least get some level in, there isn't anything to lose and you never know what the results will be.

A month left before the deadline. I'm on vacation after this post and I'll be back on July 23rd or something and then only a few days left until the deadline.

...I can't believe I didn't participate in one of these contests before. Bah, I blame school & laziness (mostly the latter). I've had enough of not doing levels for a year, so guess what? Count me the heck in.

Can I also just ask, on the rules, it says that we must inform you about characters, does that mean attaching a .txt or saying in a PM or something?
