I'm not really sure if this is an indie game, but whatever.
I really, really like this game, called "VVVVVV". It follows the journey of a blue guy in space to rescue some other guys who've been scattered due to a teleported fault or something. It even has a level editor (except the iOS and 3DS versions), and you can play a select amount of other people's custom adventures. It's really a pretty fun game, despite it being a bit short. And don't get me started on the soundtrack. It's all chiptune, to go with the game's retro style.

Ooh, this is a fun one. I'm currently working on a custom level myself.

Has anyone here played any of Tomorrow Corporation's games (Little Inferno, Human Resource Machine, World of Goo)?

Has anyone here played Saira? It's available free on steam.
The game follows Saira, a photographer stranded on Mars after all the humans mysteriously disapeard after an attempted portal travel. The gameplay is a mix of platforming, photography (think Pokemmon Snap or Dead Rising)and puzzle solving. The art style is wonderful too, it's a kind of pseudo story book type of art.

No, but seems interesting. I'll check it out when I have the chance.

There's this game called Minecraft which I doubt any of you have heard of.

Minecraft isn't indie anymore because of Microsoft.

Dang, I have a bias since I'm an indie game developer myself, and I try to make my games good, so of course some of my favorites are ones I've made. Namely, ReTux. Also, they're all libre, so I've contributed to some games I really like. But some of my favorite indie games at least primarily not by me, and excluding games that are basically clones of other games, are:

- Project: Starfighter (which I am the current maintainer of)
- Naev (which I have contributed to)
- Endgame: Singularity
- Xonotic
- Glest

Bump! just so newcomers can talk about indie games. ^_^"

But staying on topic, I been in love with this Switch & Steam exclusive indie game called: "Save Me, Mr.Tako!".

It's a MUST Have if you love the GameBoy! But it is really hard though. :geek:
