This reminds me of one Airship level from World 8 in SMB3 based on those screenshots. Anyway I haven't played the level and I'll download it soon as I'm back on my laptop. Good job.

Design- This level's design really surprised me! It had more mechanics and gimmicks than I thought it would. I decided to play your level without watching your video to keep everything a surprise to me, and I'm glad I did. I like to see that the level took a SMB3 ship feel and totally revamped it! Parts inside the ship, and parts outside the ship. The feel of the level seemed like you were infiltrating the enemy's ship, trying to access more areas to come by unlocking them with switch blocks, which was neat. I always kind of liked it when people present switch blocks in their level. I count that as gimmick. At first, I went into this level expecting it to be sort of a drag if it was going to be anything like the original airships, but it was a lot longer than I thought it would be, and as I said, it had a totally revamped feel to it. I loved that you added the flamethrowers too. There were a few parts where there could have been less cannons, but it wasn't anything I couldn't get through! The only real design quirks I didn't like was the one part where you're running trying to access a green switch whilst there are flamethrowers on top of you and a cannon is to the left trying to shoot at you. Unexpectedly, a canon shoots at me from the right and killed me, and I feel like other turtle-esque bosses would have been a good replacement for the Birdo bosses, but at least they weren't the original pink Birdos that are too easy to kill.

Scenery- Very nicely done. It wasn't overdone, and that kind of caught my eye in a good way. It met protocol for a ship, and the scenery placement looked like it came straight out of SMB3. Professional. Top notch. You showed that a level doesn't have to be absolutely bombarded with scenery and colors to look good!

Replay Value- Totally. Yes. I could definitely play this level again. Nice length. Nice design. Nice looking. It has everything a level should have in it!

Misc- The custom canon graphics were nice. Glad to see you didn't stick with just bullets. The cannons that chased you around were actually quite humorous ad unexpected haha! Music choice was appropriate, but I would have preferred the 16-bit airship music. Also, usually I don't really like it when people's background placement looks a lot like their foreground placement i.e. the wooden background compared to the wooden blocks, but you didn't overload it and it was placed and shaded nicely enough to not be an eyesore. Good job :p

PROS:
-Flamethrowers
-Nice cannons
-Appropriately placed checkpoint
-Switch gimmick
-Great length
-Great recreated revamp of SMB3 ship
-Nice event(s), especially the one that changes the perspective of the level towards the very end. I just love when users do that kind of thing.

CONS:
-The one cannon quirk
-Birdo bosses could have been koopa-esque bosses (But whatevs)
-EVERYTHING111!!!!! (April fools (Late))

Score: 8.5/10

MOVED TO BEST!

That's why he got above an 8. Either way, I could round that 8.5 to a 9, and he would still get best.

You should replace the last two bosses in the level with Larry(replacing the last boom-boom, co-pilot of the battleship) and Ludwig(replacing the end boss(a second fire Birdo), the main captain of the battleship). That would actually make the level much better, as you actually have different challenges to face as you move your way up to the top of the ship. Besides, how would enemies like Boom-Boom be able to make such large ships, let alone pilot them?
