Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook has been referred to as a "dictator" by Peter Sunde of Pirate Bay. While yes, it is Pirate Bay, Sunde did make a point.

What he said is that there is a serious impact on people's lives if they do not have a Facebook account. You may not like Zuckerberg's rules, but he's staying there, and if you're not a member on the site, you are left in the dark.

So what do you think about the dictator comparison?

If you're allowed to gather every detail of someone's life, do psychological experiments on your users, control what information they see, then the word dictator applies to you. I deactivated my account though, and you can't do that in a real dictatorship so there's that.

Some people don't get how facebook works. Whatever you post there will be saved on facebook forever. It's entirely ur fault if you posted some really stupid shit.

Also you can always fake personal data like home and shit. You can even not use ur actual name.

Also this is the goddamn internet once you are here all uf info is here not just on Facebook.

1.-For one, mark zuckerberg is a dipshit entirely because he removed the pacman emote from chat, and thats just mean.

2.-For two, people don't get that the people at facebook get access to all the information you've shared on the site. You don't have to put real information if you don't want to. Nobody gives a fuck.

3.-For three, the idea of the people at facebook using your information to get to you and shut you down whenever they want is laughable. Unless you're a terrorist or a revolutionary, they don't care about the information of some dipshit who spends their time playing videogames 4 hours a day with a part time job at an elemantry school.

If you don't want to use facebook, that's fine, everyone has a choice. Heck, i know a bunch of people who do that and carry on with no problems through their job. There is like 300 other means of communication. One in particular would be the fucking phone. Holy shit, nobody is bending you against your will to stop you from doing whatever you want.

EDIT: now that i've actually read the piratebay guy's metaphor, it's actually pretty legit. But i'd still say it's nothing to fret about.

That's not entirely true. Pages that have Facebook APIs such as a Like button embedded in them, passes information to Facebook whether you want to or not.
